Red Cross offers FREE training for local national disasters!

With hurricane season approaching and many volunteers already deployed to flood- and tornado-stricken areas, local American Red Cross officials say the need to train new volunteers is urgent.

The Red Cross will conduct free disaster training from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday May 21 at the Palmetto Electric Building, 4063 Grays Highway in Ridgeland. To participate, call Ila Shapiro at 843-757-7439. Lunch will be provided.
